10/10 would travel in your universe

Can This Even Be Called Music? The djent-infused jazz-and-world fusion is an interesting concept that oughts to be further exploited. If you want more, check out Clément Belio and Itzamna.

about

After two years of learning and composing, Entre Deux is without a doubt my first success to synthesize the journey, the ideas and colors that I wanted to put into my music when I first started to tweak some recordings on my computer. It mixes various atmospheres and genres, finding itself at the middle of the places and feelings I've been trying to give to it. That's maybe why it's named Between Two.

For this record, I've tried to minimize at most the help I would receive from my friends, and the only Guests appearances that I can announce are the trumpets of Gabriel Germon on Frontières, and some advices of Adrien Gretter and Clément Belio about drums that may have saved the appalling drum composing from my non-drummer self.

All the other instruments have been played or programmed and recorded by myself, in my bedroom.

Mixed and Mastered by myself.

Many thanks to my girlfriend Chloé, for supporting the hours of strange water drops or clock ticking recording, the more than many listenings of the unfinished EP, the crushing self-doubt, and the somehow exhaustive time that I spend in making music.

Much love to Itzamna : Adrien Gretter, Samuel Dolbeau, Benjamin Vidal and Clément Belio, for being the best band that could be, allowing me to spend the best musical moments of my life with my friends, and being such a big source of inspiration and friendship. Thanks also to my friends and family, which supports me on this long road that is musical progression.

Huge thanks to the artists that constitute the influence I've received : Secret Chiefs 3, Tigran Hamasyan, Ulver, David Maxim Micic, John Zorn, Clément Belio, David Krakauer, David Arnold, Enio Morricone, John Williams, Bach, Tesseract, Meshuggah, Arthur Hnatek, Dhafer Youssef, and many more...

about

Armand Jourdain Bordeaux, France

Self-taught eclecticism, musical sandbox, mixing attempts...
My tastes are various and funny, and as I seem to collect instruments, I'm trying to make some things out of it, and record it...

All of what you will find here is only and will stay humble attempts to synthesize the musical ideas that flow through my mind. I don't claim to be skilled, or polyvalent, I'm just doing what I love to do.
